In the midst of their college year Jonell "Sibarut" Esguerra and Renz Lienel Timoteo knew each other with their similarities of interests in metal music and they become great friends. They began jamming with some friends and joined many contests and decided to name the band “Replicca” which was comprised of four (4) members: Sibarut (vocalist), Renz Timoteo(Lead Guitar), Eric Dela Pena (Drummer) and lan (Bassist). Through time, they practiced a lot for the band and pursue their dreams as a metal band . The bassist decided to leave the band and Sibarut became the bass player. They've searched for a new member. Mel Edward Dasco who has a great passion in music and packed with his own songs which are relevant to the music they play, he joined the band as their lead vocalist so the band also decided to change the name "Replicca" to "Epidemia".
